What is this project?

Context
This project was made in a class at university. The project's objective was to investigate a problem in the University and thoughts of technological ways to solve it.
Opportunity
With research and daily interaction, we observed that many students go to the University by public transport or take rides with other students. We identify the opportunity of creating an web app that connects drivers and passangers on the way to University.

In the beginning of every semester, there is a massive amount of e-mail inbox and messages in group chats about rides.
People sharing their private vehicles to others that need to get to the campus from such a distance away.
Essential question
How to simplify the carpooling process?
This question covers the entire objective of the theme chosen for the project. It ranges from helping to carry out this action to understanding if there is indeed a problem related to it or not.
Challenge
Simplifying the process of offering and accepting carpooling for UFPE students, creating a sustainable and collective experience.
The challenge is to improve the efficiency of the entire carpooling process, from finding available individuals to more efficient communication.
